Carefree and safe

As Singaporeans, how many of you actually think it is unsafe to head out late at night?
If you do, I beg to defer.

This brightly lit city with high security assures me with nothing to worry about. Be it heading home from clubbing or supper, I feel safe walking on the streets alone.
Should credit go to 24hours prata shops or the 7eleven stores that does not cease their operation?

Some give credit to the education system in Singapore.
"Almost everyone is educated in this society...people have jobs which equates to income. They are educated from what's right from wrong."

Or is it simply because of strict enforcement by the law and the consequences they may face? Being a small sunny island definitely has its' benefits when it comes to security; making it difficult for offenders to escape once law enforcers issue a state arrest.

From crime situation statistics - "The overall crime situation in Singapore remains under control for the first half of 2009, with an overall decrease of 1.3% as compared to the same period last year."

This means more partying at ease for each and every one of you.
