Tiger's never a disappointment

On Friday, 25th June 2010, the latest tourist attraction among Singaporeans, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), saw even more crowd than usual. Only this time, they came together for another reason.

Fans of Brazil and Portugal turned up at the RWS Atrium to catch the Live screening between the two teams, donning on jerseys of the teams to show their loyalty for their supported team – despite the fact that it turned out to be a boring match.

Much disappointment for the fans there but it wasn’t all gloomy as Tiger Beer saved the day by extending their free flow beer from 11pm to 3am for lucky winners of Power98 fm, as well as in2it.sg and Fuse members!

Organized by Power98 fm and RWS, the event was hyped up by “The Power Crew”, about an hour before the actual screening of the match. Goodie bags, courtesy of Auto-I magazine, were given to everyone who attended.

A bunch of lucky attendees won themselves World Cup merchandise such as the original Jabulani ball, a size 3 Brazil & Portugal ball, as well as jerseys from the two teams, by participating in games such as the fastest dribbling time, and also simple questions on in2it.sg website.

As the clock struck 10, everyone went into position and were glued to the large screen to catch the match. Much cheering and jeering were heard from both sides of the team (fans) throughout the whole game.

After the match, lucky draw sessions took place, and a few lucky winners walked away with RWS vouchers and the likes. Too bad we, at in2it.sg, weren’t lucky to have won anything that night. But we were happy enough that RWS, courtesy of Tiger Beer, extended their free flow hours. We definitely drank to our hearts’ content!
