EOY 2011
There will never a better opportunity to show your support for local talents than at the EOY – an annual Japanese pop culture event which returns this December to Republic Polytechnic. A haven for Japanese pop culture, EOY also serves as a platform for budding stars to demonstrate their flair for Japanese performing arts. Visitors can look forward to enthralling performances by homegrown artistes, musicians and cosplayers. Adding glamour to the event is Hitomi from the @home chain of maid cafes in Tokyo, a charmingly cute singer and dancer who has performed live and produced CDs as part of J-pop duo Team Junjou. EOY 2011 will also feature a cosplay competition and a Lolita fashion runway. If you are looking to bring souvenirs home, do not miss the booths selling original artworks and anime merchandise.
