Big Boy Heroes!
Did you love watching cartoons as a kid? Love to read comics or watch movies? Ever dreamt of being like James Bond or Indiana Jones? Ever wanted to solve crime like Batman or save Lois Lane like Superman? Some things may change, but heroes will stay the same, so let’s take a look at the first five of our top ten Big Boy Heroes list!

MacGyver
Angus MacGyver, aka MacGyver, was a covert agent sent out on secret missions who frequently had to think his way out of numerous dangerous situations. He was a non-violent action hero who didn’t use guns and had extensive knowledge of common everyday things. He is best known for his ever present two-piece all problem solving equipment; duct tape and a Swiss army knife.
MacGyver is the only hero to have his name synonymous with simple but effective problem solving with the resources you have. To “MacGyver” would be, for example, to crack an egg into a car radiator to fix it.
"It's a little recipe I use in emergencies."

Bruce Lee
Kung fu legend Bruce Lee is known to action fans all over the world. On 20 July 1973, news of the tragic death of the venerated martial artist at the peak of his career devastated thousands worldwide. Creator of Jeet Kune Do, Lee was more than just an action hero; he was a philosopher who incorporated his ideals into his films and reached out to people around the globe.
Lee single handedly made Chinese people speaking bad English sound cool. Often quoted for his wise and deep philosophical sayings, Lee would frequently sprout grammatically incorrect sentences and people would flock to his teachings like duck to water; whether the water is in a cup or a pot or...well you get it.
“Using no way as a way, using no limitations as a limitation.”

Indiana Jones
Dr. Henry Walton "Indiana" Jones, Jr, aka “Indy” is more than just a stuffy college professor teaching archeology; he’s also an explorer extraordinaire. Indy often got into tough spots in dark, dusty caverns or temples, saving damsels in distress and grabbing treasures. Never has such a dry profession seem so cool.
Not only does Indy get to travel the world, he always gets the girl and saves the day and still manages to grab a little something for himself along the way. He is THE hero. Indy is also the inspiration for various other treasure hunting characters such as the famous “Tomb Raider” Lara Croft and Ben Franklin Gates from National Treasure.
“We do not follow maps to buried treasure and X never, ever marks the spot."

Spiderman
Possibly the first character to make nerds seem cool, Peter Parker changed how the world would view nerds by being bitten by a radioactive spider and gaining spiderlike powers. Unlike all other rather serious heroes, Spiderman is known for his wisecracking ways and need to talk consistently in battle. More often than not, Spiderman manages to annoy his opponents into making mistakes by simply whining about his everyday life.
Spiderman’s life is filled with melodrama and soap opera-esque storylines, but he still manages to stay optimistic and is respected not only for his skills but his smarts as well. Spiderman is a great example of a nerdy boy from humble beginnings maturing into a great man throughout the years.
“Whatever life holds in store for me, I will never forget these words: "With great power comes great responsibility." This is my gift, my curse. Who am I? I'm Spiderman.”

Boba Fett
The badass of a galaxy far, far away, Boba Fett is the bounty hunter that all adolescent boys wanted to be. Ruthless but honorable; Fett has a strong sense of morals and adheres strictly to his own code of justice. He has a strong hatred for Jedis, in particular Mace Windu, for killing his father.
An expert marksman, and gifted with but not dependent on his high tech weapons, Fett was cunning and witty enough to use the resources around him to accomplish his mission. Considered to be the best bounty hunter in the galaxy by Darth Vader himself, Fett was definitely a force to be reckoned with. You don’t want to mess with him for sure.
“Reality doesn't care if you believe it.”
