Romantic Locations in Singapore!

Singapore is infamously known for being potentially the least romantic country around. We’re probably the only country where the government has had to intervene and ‘teach’ the people how to be romantic. A lot of you probably think that there aren’t any romantic places in Singapore, well we at in2it.sg are here to prove you wrong!

Romantic Hotspot #1 – The Scarlet Hotel

Despite its risqué sounding name, the Scarlet Hotel is famous as a local lover’s getaway. Its famed Passion room is often booked out early and is highly sought after.

But not to worry! There is more than one themed room in this hotel and there is sure to be one to tempt your senses! This hotel was even a secret rendezvous hotspot for Singer/Actor Jay Chou whose incognito visit was spoilt by the appearance of the Taiwanese paparazzi.

Romantic Hotspot #2 – Singapore Flyer

The Singapore Flyer is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, but what makes this hotspot stand out is that the Flyer offers you the option of having a completely personal capsule for just the two of you or having a pre-dinner sunset viewing complete with a glass of champagne on their special Moet & Chandon champagne flight!. This Valentine’s Day the flyer has some special flights going on be sure to check them out!

Romantic Hotspot #3– HSBC Treetop Walk

Think a walk by the beach is just a little too cliché for you? Try a walk amongst some green giants! Better yet, do this walk during the early morning, and enjoy a great view of the sunrise at suspension bridge! However, this hike is not for the faint hearted or those with acrophobia (Fear of Heights) as this climb is about 11km long. However for adventure lovers, this is probably one of most romantic treks you can do together in Singapore!

Romantic Hotspot #4– Double Helix Bridge

You probably won’t be the only couple on this bridge, but you can’t deny the gorgeous night view that the Double Helix Bridge offers. This would work best as an after-dinner walk as it’s cooler in the evening and the city skyline at night is simply amazing.

You might want to take your date up to the Skypark to enjoy a bird’s eye view of the city as the sun sets before your walk, or use the walk along the bridge to lead up to the Skypark for a special moment!

Romantic Hotspot #5 – Southernmost Point of Continental Asia

southernAre you an old school romantic? Do you enjoy those evening sunset walks on the beach? Well, try visiting the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia just off Sentosa’s Palawan Beach. Climb up one of the four towers there to get to a higher vantage point or just sit at the edge of the island and enjoy the sea breeze and sun set.

There are plenty of other romantic ways to spend an evening in Singapore, and these locations don’t have to be kept for special occasions either, your loved ones will enjoy visits to any of the places you’ve picked out just for them.
