Our favourite ice cream parlour, the Marble Slab Creamery, is pleased to announce that they will be releasing a new line of exquisite confections to tease your sweet tooth!

The in2it.sg team felt like the luckiest people on earth when we were invited down to the Marble Slab Creamery at Iluma for a dessert tasting! We were pleasantly surprised to find them hard at work, creating the desserts for us on the spot! It’s no wonder they really have the freshest ice cream on earth.

Wondering what exactly they released? They are not waffles, nor are they cakes. But they are ice cream wafflecakes!

Available in 6 delicious ice cream combination flavours, these wafflecakes will definitely melt your resolve! Each wafflecake has a secret mix-in at the centre of a freshly-baked chocolate coated waffle bowl, is covered in yummy ice cream and topped with decadent frosting and garnish! Doesn’t it sound irresistible already? We know you’re just dying to call Marble Slab Creamery and beg them to release those wafflecakes already!

Inspired by cupcakes, these adorable creations come in 6 flavours: Double Chocolate, Peanut Butter Cup, Strawberry Cheesecake, Strawberry Fudge, Turtle Cup and Vanilla Brownie!

Having a party and wondering what to wow your guests with? Why not order a dozen of these sinful wafflecakes at only $68.80? Your friends are sure to demand more, more, more! If you just want to make someone’s day with these sweet treats, they are priced at 3 for $17.80!

Of course, we at in2it.sg got to try the best of the best: Vanilla Brownie and Strawberry Cheesecake.

The Vanilla Brownie wafflecake consists of a chocolate-fudge brownie covered in super-premium Madagascan Vanilla ice cream and generously topped with Madagascan Vanilla frosting! Can you say decadent? The cherry on top (no pun intended) was the yummy chocolate sprinkles and the whole thing in a chocolate-coated waffle cup. We couldn’t resist slurping everything up. That’s right, even the waffle cup! Yum!

On the other hand, the Strawberry Cheesecake wafflecake comprises of smooth strawberry puree and delicious Cheesecake ice cream. With Strawberry puree drizzled over Madagascan Vanilla frosting and a graham cracker garnish, this wasn’t jelat at all! Instead, it had the perfect balance of sweet and icy to cool our palates and top it off with a classic factor: the graham cracker. Slurp!

Drooling already? Hold it in- you’ll be delighted to find that these wafflecakes will be only available at Marble Slab Creameries from 14 November 2011 to 29 February 2012! Snap them up before they melt!

Marble Slab Creamery also has one more announcement to make. To complete their Christmas collection (and to make sure Marble Slab is at the top of your list when looking for Christmas party foods), they will also be introducing two new ice cream flavours!

The Double Chocolate Banana ice cream and the Root Beer Float ice cream will only be available from 1 December 2011 till 31 December 2011!

For the maximum Christmas kick factor, they are also rolling out the log cake this season. Your Christmas party guests will be impressed by Marble Slab’s very own creation: The Rocher Log Cake.

Now you can have your cake and eat it too! The Rocher Log Cake is filled with freshly roasted hazelnuts, delicious chocolate cream and dusted with sugary icing. Also only available from 1 December 2011 till 31 December 2011 and priced at $58.80, the Rocher Log Cake is sure to be the icing on your Christmas party.
