Aimed at promoting fitness and a spirit of adventure among NSmen, SAFRA Adventure Sports Centre (SASC) has organised a series of events and expeditions to get that fire burning!

White Water Rafting & Caving In Perak
Fri – Sun, 28 – 30 Jan 2011

Enjoy the thrills and spills of white water rafting? Join us at Sungei Kampar; a Class I-III graded river, in Perak. Those new to the sport need not worry as experienced instructors will brief all participants on paddling commands, capsize drills and safety procedures before they accompany you on an adrenaline filled ride along 14 rapids amidst the lush rainforest.

Next, the trip will take you to the limestone caves of Gua Tempurung, one of the longest caves in Peninsula, Malaysia. Get ready to be amazed as you explore the massive rock formations within the cave and trail the river that meanders more than 1.6km within the hill. Remember to bring a head torch and water-proof your belongings as you will get wet!

Valentine Adventure In Krabi
Fri – Sun, 11 –13 Feb 2011

Enjoy the sights and sounds of Krabi as you go on a city tour of interesting places such as the Wat Thum Sir ‘Tiger Cave’ Temple, a fruit market and the Marine Fish Farm in Krabi Town. The real adventure begins on the second day as you hit the white waters down a 5km rafting route and explore the lush jungle on friendly elephants and all-terrain vehicles.

Explore Stong Waterfalls In Kelantan
Thu – Sun, 24 – 27 Feb 2011

Stong Waterfalls is reputed to be the tallest waterfall in South East Asia with a height of approximately 305m. Enjoy trekking upstream in the early morning to view this spectacular seven-tiered waterfall and gaze at the stars in the night.
