It is time to unwind and treat yourself to goodies.

As the holiday season draw closer, there is a million and one reason for you to rejoice. Indulge in parties after parties along with food and drinks to keep you happy.
They say a hungry man is an angry man. Be sure you attend to those needs before you turn your parties upside down.

If you are hosting a party soon, let in2it teach you a trick or two to spice up your party. Read on to impress your guest with endless of drinks and food.

How about some Bubblegum or Lychee Martinis for the ladies and Bacardi cocktail or Screwdriver for the gentlemen?

Bubblegum
Layer ¼ vodka, ¼ banana liqueur, ¼ orange juice and ¼ peach schnapps in a shot glass.

Lychee Martini
Combine 1oz of Vodka, ½ oz of lychee liqueur and a dash of lychee juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

Bacardi cocktail
Combine 1½ oz. Bacardi Light or Gold Rum, ½ oz. Lime Juice, 1 tsp Grenadine and ½ tsp sugar (optional) in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

Screwdriver
It requires 1 oz. Vodka and Orange Juice. Take a highball or bucket glass and fill it with ice. Now, pour vodka into the glass and fill it with orange juice.

Also, remember to fill your guests' stomach up with goodness. You will not want them drunk faster than you expect. Not forgetting the mess that they might leave behind (puke).

Chicken Croquetteschicken_croquettes
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoon flour
1 1/4 cup mixed milk and chicken stock
2 cup ground cooked chicken
Salt, Freshly ground pepper
1 beaten egg
2 tablespoon dry bread crumbs
Oil for frying

Melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the flour.
Gradually stir in the liquid and cook, stirring, until the sauce is thick and smooth. Stir in the minced chicken and season well. Continue cooking for about 1 minute, on a low heat, until the mixture is firm enough to hold together in a mass. Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly, then, with floured hands, form the mixture into little sausage shapes. Brush these with beaten egg and coat with bread crumbs. Shallow fry in hot oil until golden brown. Serve hot or cold.


Hot Chicken Wings
1 tbsp oil
2 cups orange juice
1/2 cup vinegar or lemon juice
1 tsp crushed red pepper
2 tsp cajun seasoning
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp cornflour
6 tbsp brown sugar
1kg/2 lbs chicken wings

Combine all dry ingredients and mix thourghly. Add vinegar and orange juice and mix well. Wash the chicken wings, fold the wings. Place in a deep dish and cover with the marinade. Cover and refidgerate for 6-12 Hrs.
Remove wings from sauce and place on baking tray. Return sauce to a sauce pan, heat and cook until the sauce has thickened. Place the wings under a medium Grill for about 20-25 min, turning occasionally and basting with the sauce.
Have a fabulous party with heaps of fun. Do not burn the house down!
