Christmas Woes : Part I

It is almost Christmas and you really need help with all that shopping, party, events and dinner (the list goes on). With only 20 days left on the calendar, flustering is not going to get you anywhere.

 You are not going to get them done in a day, not even two if you are considering a party. Breathe, because 20 days sounds sufficient to me. I know shopping goes into the must-do list and if you are not planning on a list, it is time you should. That Christmas shopping list you are able to make is not only going to shorten your shopping spree by half but aid you in your buying decision, lessening you from any unnecessary stress.

After creating your endless name list, make a side note of what you think you should get for each and every one; head down to a gigantic shopping mall or street, eg. Vivo City or Orchard road to save your trouble of conquering the entire Singapore for presents, the same should go for a grocery list (if you are hosting a party), and you should now have at least 18 days left.

Being a host of a party is never simple, having to consider and cater to your guest needs can be vexing, but why fuss over something edgy when Christmas is about traditions. Grab a turkey, roast some ham, pineapples (must have), pasta or even pizzas will keep your guests' jolly and filled. You should never let drinks affect you, stretch for a little of everything and you should be set for a good time. You should now have at least 16 days.

Always plan for an engaging party with heaps to do, take on something interactive for everyone, consider games like Taboo, Charade or Pictionary. Truth or Dare is another definite game that will go wrong. You should now at least have 15 days.

No doubt that decoration should portray a Christmas theme; it should also emphasis on your personal style. Cracking your head about what you love should not take a day. You should now at least have 14 days left.
