A helping hand

If Christmas is about giving, why not consider giving to the less fortunate?DSCN2009

SAFRA Community Services Club (SAFRACS) which has been around for more than two decades offers NSmen and their families an avenue to extend a helping hand. SAFRACS which aims to cheer the lives of the less fortunate targets 3 main groups, namely, the senior citizen, underprivileged children and physically disabled.

Volunteers of SAFRACS organises activities such as, festive celebrations, outing, home visitation on a monthly basis. However, at times goes beyond the norm for farms visits, fishing trips and scenic bumboat rides for the underprivileged children.

SAFRACS comprises volunteers from all walks of life, both young and old; along with their families to engage in the act of giving as a gesture of love to the greater community.  This in turn strengthens family cohesion and imparts the spirit of volunteerism to the next generation and other like-minded people.

It is time you play a part in this community with SAFRACS to care beyond your comfort zone.

Apart from the free membership and polo tee, SAFRACS volunteers get to attend annual gatherings and training programmes, as well as, monthly update of the past and upcoming events.
