Her Emotions = Gestures in Clusters

Always watch out for body gestures that happen in a cluster.

Body language is not about logically deciphering one gesture at a time; you have to link the gestures in clusters of 3 or 4 to understand a woman's feelings about you. We have described some basic body language in terms of gestures occurring in clusters through the illustrations below.

(I) Defensive Postures

- She is smiling, leaning forward, looking at you and paying attention to what you're saying. You think she is into you. WRONG!
- Leaning forward and smiling do not equal to being comfortable with you.
- Her right arm and her crossed legs both signal a defensive gesture; a type of barrier to protect her. Plus, take notice of the position of her right hand - it's ready to be turned into a fist to hit right out at you!

Other Defensive Stances:

- all show her body leaning forward and one or both arms are in front of her

- she is not open and totally comfortable even though she may be listening keenly to what you're saying

- ADVICE: get her to hold or touch something with both her hands as this lowers her guard and makes her more open to you and what you've got to say

Many people think that women doing the typical "hair flip" is flirting. There is fine line to this - if you have sight of the woman's palm and wrist (deemed by some as sensual part/s of the body), she is telling you "Come, hither." If her palm and wrist are not revealed to you, she is not even aware you exist, or if she is speaking with you, some hostility may exist.

(II) Non Defensive Stances

- She's not smiling and not really paying attention to what you're saying. That means she is not interested in you. WRONG!

- She is playing with her hair, and notice that her wrist and palm are turned oh-so-slightly towards you. Yes, she could be flirting with you!

- Her arms are not (in any degree) in front of her body and her legs are not crossed. What's great is her right palm placed on her leg is faced upward. All these are signs that she is open and comfortable with you.

Other Non Defensive Stances:

- She is leaning forward and no arms are placed in front of her body

- Once again, take note of her wrist and palm, which are turned towards you.

- She is looking at you while resting her chin on her knuckles, palm forward, signaling that she accepts you even though she is not smiling.

(III) Openly Flirting Stances

- She is pulling her blouse to expose her neck (or more skin). This is a signal to indicate she is fully submitting to you and you can go in for the kill - literally!

- She is caressing herself. Older women (that is, beyond their teenage years) recognise that men enjoy watching them touch themselves. This gesture signals a certain level of self-fulfillment and it is a way of luring you towards her.

- If she is tugging or touching a necklace or any jewelry piece near her collar bone, she is inviting you to approach her.

- She is revealing her underarms to you; they are rarely seen so this type of gesture is treated as "special". Leaning back shows she is relaxed with you.

- She is also behaving quite animatedly in your conversation and even pulling her hair high off to reveal her neck or more skin, a sign of submission.

Practice Makes Perfect

Our society frowns on women who are overt in their ways, especially in giving clear, forthright signals to the men they find attractive. As such, the majority of women folk do not wish to appear aggressive in any way in the game of early courtship.

You must learn to watch out for signals, aborted or cut short. For example, a woman may start to caress herself or an object but then stop; she may pull her blouse to expose more skin or her neck, and then stop; she may fleetingly flash her palm, dangle her slip-ons or run her fingers through her hair and then stop.

She is programmed by Mother Nature to do all these so quickly that the only way an average guy can catch on is to train his eyes to catch such acts. Practise picking out these signals often by watching couples and soon you'd find yourself amply rewarded.
