SAFRA Photographic Club was founded in 1972 by a group of graduating course students. It progressed from a small group using a makeshift darkroom till today having the biggest darkroom among all photographic societies anc clubs in Singapore with a membership strendth of over 300.

SAFRA Photographic Club has relocated to the new SAFRA Mount Faber at Telok Blangah Way in November 2004. With the move, SAFRA Photographic Club has replaced all the enlargers in their new and bigger darkroom. SAFRA Photographic Club members can also look forward to the new digital darkroom with high-end computers and scanners for photo enhancement.

Recognised as one of the major photographic clubs in Singapore, and will well equipped facilities and hardware, we aim to attract and entice more shutterbugs to join us. We have also re-introduced the Term Membership to retain many of our talented course students who are non-NSmen.
