At 6,476m, Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in Nepal. Situated at the edge of the famous Khumbu Region, the expedition is a high altitude trek and climb which offers a spectacular panorama of many of the world’s highest peaks such as Mount Everest, Ama Dablam and Lhotse. This expedition is suitable for adventure and endurance sports enthusiasts who are physically fit, preferably with prior mountain trekking experience of more than 4,000m in altitude. 19 Days Mera Peak - Expedition Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu. (D)
Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel. Welcome drinks followed by briefing. Late afternoon leisure walk in Thamel, a popular tourist district in Kathmandu Valley and a bustling bazaar which offers a glimpse of Nepal’s vibrant ethnic culture.

Day 02: Kathmandu – Lukla – Chutanga (3000m) (B,L,D)
After breakfast transfer to airport and connect short flight to Lukla. Upon reaching guide will fix the load and porter than start trek to Chutanga over night at lodge (3000m)

Day 03: Chutanga-Zatrwa La (4855M) (B,L,D)
Trek will be about 5 hrs, today cross the pass 4855m and decent to about 3800m for the overnight camp. Overnight lodge

Day 04: ZatrwaLa – Kothe (3690m) (B,L,D)
Trek about 5 hrs. Overnight at lodge

Day 05: Kothe-Tangnag (4350m) (B,L,D)
Trek about 6 hrs. Overnight at Lodge

Day 06: Tangnag (B,L,D)
Rest day for acclimatization.

Day 07: Tangnag – Khare (5099m) (B,L,D)
Trek 4 hours overnight at lodge.

Day 08: Khare-Mera La base camp (5350m) (B,L,D)
Trek about 4 hours. Overnight camping.

Day 09: Mera La base camp (B,L,D)
Rest day for acclimatization and basic mountaineering training - Overnight camping.

Day 10: Mera La base camp to High camp (B,L,D)
Spend the morning in the Base camp for acclimatization and late morning proceed to Mera La High Camp (5780m) Trek about 3 hrs up hill.

Day 11: High Camp to Mera peak summit- Mera La Base camp (6461m) (B,L,D)
Total climb takes about 7 hour. This day start early in the morning about 2 to 3 am and start climb to Mera. Climber should reach Summit latest by 0900 am. After taking the photos trek back to Mera La Base Camp. Over night at camping.

Day 12: Mera La –Khare. (B,L,D)
Trek about 4 hrs. Overnight at lodge

Day 13: Khare-Tangnag. (B,L,D)
Trek about 4 hrs. Over night at lodge

Day 14: Tangnag-Kothe. (B,L,D)
Trek about 5 hrs. Overnight at lodge

Day 15: Kothe-Zatrwa La (B,L,D)
Trek about 6 hrs. Overnight at lodge.

Day 16: Zatrwa La-Lukla (B,L,D)
Trek about 6 hrs. Overnight at lodge

Day 17: Lukla –Kathmandu. (B,L,D)
After breakfast connect short flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival meet and transfer to hotel. Rest and relax.

Day 18: Kathmandu- City tour (B,L,D)
After breakfast city tour visit Patan Durbar Square, It is an enchanting mélange of palace buildings, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples. Listed as a World Heritage Site, the former royal palace complex is the center of Patan’s religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects. One remarkable monument here is a 17th century temple dedicated to the Hindu God Krishna – Krishna Mandir built entirely of stone with rare stone carvings on its walls depicting the epic wars from Ramayana and Mahabharata. Lunch will be in Patan. Evening enjoy a sumptuous traditional Nepalese Cuisine with Cultural Performance.

Day 19: Final departure from Kathmandu (B)
After breakfast transfer to airport
