About The Club

Through three decades, SAFRA Photographic Club has been one of the most active local clubs. Be it with analog or digital, on black & white or colour, the club has amassed a string of local and regional photography awards. So much so that their works have made it to well known museums like the UGO MULAS in Italy and the Singapore Art Museum. Talk about picture perfection!

Formed in 1972 by a group of graduating course students. It progressed from a small group using a makeshift darkroom to having the biggest darkroom among all photographic societies and clubs in Singapore with a membership strength of over 300.

SAFRA Photographic Club was relocated SAFRA Mount Faber in November 2004. With the move, the club replaced all the enlargers in their new and bigger darkroom. Members can also look forward to the new digital darkroom with high-end computers and scanners for photo enhancement. Want to know what facilities we have? Click here to find out.

Recognised as one of the five major photographic clubs in Singapore, and with well-equipped facilities and hardware, they hope to attract more shutterbugs to join the family.Read more about the facilities here.
